Scenario - Thunder MBLAQ

You’ve been walking around the room. Nervous. Your boyfriend, Park Sang Hyun, just told you that his parents will be coming to meet you. You never agreed to the idea, not because you don’t want to, but you’re just scared that you won’t be able to impress them. “Smile na lang! It won’t be scary. They don’t bite!” He chuckled. “Hainakuu… what if they don’t like me? What if.. what if… AAAH!” Just the thought of meeting his parents scare you. You’ve been dating him for almost two years, and he finally brought up the idea to let you meet his parents.

“Is my dress okay? Did I overdressed? Under-dressed? Is my hair messy? Should I prepare the food already? Should I….” You just can’t stop mumbling questions. “Calm down. It will be okay.” He tried to assure you.

Ding-dong. The bell rang. You’re getting more nervous. You could feel your heart beat on your chest.

You head to the door and greeted his parents. “A-a-annyong h-haseyo,” you stuttered. “Is this our future daughter-in-law?” said his mother while gently holding your hands. Your cheeks turned pink after hearing what his mother said.

“See. I told you, my parents are cool,” he said, then winked at you.

“Why? Are you nervous to see us? Don’t worry.” His mother smiled. His mother brought you to the couch and made you to sit next to her. “You know, our little boy here never has any girlfriend before? And when we found out that he’s going out with you, he was so excited. We were thrilled to see you but he never let us. He said he’s scared if you’ll be too nervous and change your mind.”

You just smiled and kept your head down, still feeling nervous. “Just treat us like your own omma and appa,” his mother continued.

After having lunch with his parents and finally greeted them goodbye, both of you went to the kitchen and started cleaning up.

While washing the dishes…

“Do you think your parents like me?”

“Nah.. they don’t.” He said it with a serious expression. Just when you’re mood is about to change, he continued, “of course they don’t. they love you, you silly!” He giggled.

“Kyaaah!” You splashed some water to his face.

“Hahah! Saranghae, silly!”
